I earned a PhD in electrical engineering in 1997 and a PhD in mathematics in 2005. Following that, I served as a control specialist at Danfoss A/S from 2007 to 2008 and as a professor at Vestas A/S from 2008 to 2013. Since 2013, I have been a full professor at the Department of Electronic Systems at Aalborg University.

Carsten Skovmose Kallesøe | Professor | Chief Control Specialist (Grundfos A/S)
I earned my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in control engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 1998 and 2005, respectively. Throughout my career, I've focused on control and supervision solutions for pumping systems and water networks, primarily within the water industry. My contributions were recognized with the Elektroprisen award by the Danish Society of Engineers (IDA) in 2013. Presently, I serve as the Chief Control Specialist at Grundfos and hold a professorship at Aalborg University.

I completed my MSc in Control and Automation at Aalborg University in 2020 and am currently pursuing my PhD there, specializing in drinking water systems. With over 4 years of experience in projects concerning water networks, my current focus is on enhancing water network efficiency by identifying and resolving issues such as leaks and contamination.

I am currently pursuing my PhD at Aalborg University. My research interests span game theory, reinforcement learning, constrained optimization, and nonlinear control. I have experience designing control systems for various applications, including satellites, water networks, and robotics. My research has been recognized with the Elite Research Travel Grant in 2022 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Denmark.

Currently pursuing the PhD degree at Aalborg University, where my research focuses on developing anomaly detection algorithms ensuring the safe operation of Power-to-X systems. It involves applications of deep learning techniques to enhance system security.

Prior to joining Aalborg University, I was an Institution-of-Eminence postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 2021 to 2022. My current research interests include safe reinforcement learning, model-free safety verification, offline reinforcement learning, and mathematical control theory.

I received my B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and Automation from the University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain in 2020 and my M.Sc. in Control and Automation from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark in 2022. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. within the Department of Electronic Systems at the same university. My research focuses on the integration of physical knowledge of dynamical systems with data-driven techniques to overcome the limitations inherent in each approach individually. I seek to develop new techniques for the accurate and efficient detection of anomalies and cyber-attacks in wind farms.

I received PhD in Structural Dynamics from Aalborg University (AAU) in 2019. After a round of postdocs at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automatic Control (INRIA, Rennes) and ETH-Zürich/Aarhus University, I have joined the Department of Electronic Systems, Learning and Decisions Lab at AAU as a postdoc connected to the BeWind project. My work focuses on the development of Bayesian filters combined with machine learning methods for fault diagnosis of a new generation of offshore wind turbines.

My postdoctoral research, titled "Quantum-Driven Solutions for Multi-Agent Systems and Advanced Computation," focuses on developing innovative quantum-based methodologies. I recently conducted my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto, Portugal, with a thesis entitled "Optimal and Robust Quantum Control Strategies for Stability, Fidelity, and Entanglement Enhancement." My research expertise spans quantum computing, algorithm design, machine learning, and control, with an emphasis on bridging theoretical insights and practical applications in quantum systems.
